Valet Girls was founded in 1983 by Dana Hartley. Ms. Hartley
started the company with two employees and provided services for 50 events each
year between 1983 and 1986. Twenty-five years later, Valet Girls provides valet
parking services at over 300 events each year.
All Valet Girls team members attend classroom training
in safety and service.
We have less than 10% employee turn over which
is well below the industry standard.
Our team members are offered Aetna Health Insurance
and very competitive wages so we are able to retain the finest team of valet
parking professionals.
We run California Motor Vehicle History Reports
as part of our pre employment screening. By searching an applicant's driving
record, we learn about suspended licenses, failures to appear in court and arrest
warrants. In addition, drug and alcohol related driving offenses, such as driving
under the influence and possession of drugs, which may serve as a warning of
potential substance abuse problems that can affect job performance.
We are the only valet parking company in the
country that is owned and operated by a former hotel and restaurant general manager.
